Which comes first: The chicken or the egg? Trick question, friends, because it’s your logo!

Your logo is your business’s identifier and will dictate your brand guidelines when it comes to colors, fonts and vibe. This is why it’s a necessary first step before creating your website, social media accounts and print collateral (think business cards). Here is our five-step process to get the job done efficiently:

Step 1: Logo Brief

You’ll answer a list of questions that we provide that helps us get to know you and your business. We’ll cover topics such as target audience for your products or services, any colors you love or loathe, and your brand’s personality.

Step 2: Mood Board

Using the information from your brief, we’ll create a mood board (similar to collection boards you find on Pinterest) with different logo styles, varying color palettes and font options.

Step 3: Design

Referencing your top choices from the provided mood board, we’ll design three to five logo options for you to review.

Step 4: Review, Revise + Finalize

We will go over each of the three to five logo options together to discover which one you believe fits your business best and any elements that we can revise. Revisions include adjusting colors or even combining different logos.

Step 5: Brand Guidelines

Now that we have your logo finalized and a mood board to reference, we will deliver a complete set of brand guidelines. Guidelines cover full color and black and white logos, brand font and color details, minimum clear space required around your logo placements, the minimum size for your logo, and the dos and don’ts of usage.
