Evans Chaffee is a respected construction group that has elevated the scene throughout Eagle, Pitkin and Summit counties since 1998. This full-service firm provides hands on solutions throughout the consulting, pre-planning and construction process. Locals have always known Evans Chaffee as the go-to for commercial construction, but this award-winning company also has a custom, luxury home division.

Keeping in mind the commercial connotations of Evans Chaffee’s history, Avid approached their rebranding with a two-part goal: 1) Tip a hat to the legacy of Evans Chaffee and 2) Design new marks that clearly define the class and capabilities of each division while remaining on-brand.

PORTFOLIO DESIGN

This duality-driven concept was also applied to the design and development of the company’s new, responsive portfolio website infrastructure that showcases their expansive mountain construction capabilities in both the commercial and residential construction fields.

Their new identity kit, much like all other elements, gives prominence to both sides of the company. We updated the color palette with richer shades and incorporated a more established presentation of the iconic “e” with a sans serif font for a straightforward, clean look.
