Taste of Vail (TOV) is rated among the nation’s best spring food and wine festivals by media outlets such as Forbes.com, USA Today and The Travel Channel. It pairs the finest food, wine and beer vendors with foodies and aficionados from across the globe. For the past 20+ years, Avid has supported Taste of Vail’s marketing and design needs, bringing a new look to TOV’s annual deliverables to keep their visual communications fresh and inviting while remaining on-brand. We look forward to being a part of this growing event for the next 20+ years.

Each year, local artists use their skills to create the unique art for the poster that represents the essence of that year. Avid then styles the final poster using the provided elements and incorporates the look consistently across all marketing collateral.

We’ve created hundreds of classic, custom-designed pieces to support this event. The heavy hitter of this collateral lineup is always the event booklet, which includes a comprehensive list of the presenters, vendors, the schedule, wine notes, and sponsors which can be upwards of 40 pages in length.


In 2015, Avid received a nomination for this custom illustrated event poster from the Art Directors’ Club Denver, now operating as The ONE Club – Denver. This particular design reflects on Vail’s most classic landmarks (plus we hid a few easter eggs in the design for the guests to find).

Avid has handled this iconic event’s social media and email marketing in many capacities over the past 20 years. Using our library of images from official TOV photographers, we’ve crafted and managed organic content, paid social media campaigns, special promotions and email campaigns focused around promoting the event up to the big day and sharing posts during the event to showcase all of the great activities.
