Vail Backcountry Tours – the only snowmobile touring company in Vail – provides epic guided adventures through groomed trails in our state’s awe inspiring backcountry. Tours include scenic photo opportunities and a fun pit stop for snacks in their private yurt. We’ve loved working with this fun-loving, thrill-seeking client since 2016!

Our team tightened up their existing logo and created a suite of print collateral; including ads, business cards and rack cards; that incorporated elements from the redesigned website for brand consistency. We used visuals, such as evergreen trees and snowmobiles in action, to emphasize VBT’s high-octane, backcountry fun. The rack card was designed to stand out on shelves with all tour options organized in an easy-to-understand format to entice visiting thrill seekers.

WEBSITE DESIGN

In 2019, we designed and developed a new responsive website for VBT – giving their visitors a more streamlined experience with reviewing and booking tours. The new design included easily accessible call-to-action buttons on mobile and a new layout on tour pages that allowed for easy comparisons between tour options. The home page sports a digital mountain range to reflect their proximity to Vail Mountain, a video header that shows off their terrain, quick-glance tour info, a map of the exact location and their stellar 5-star reviews.

With their new digital presence up and running, we turned our sights to crafting and managing omni-channel marketing support to boost reservations. This approach included a Google Ads campaign with a supplementary social media marketing campaign; reputation management on Facebook, TripAdvisor, Yelp and Google; and search engine optimization. Our goals every season are to cultivate VBT’s relationship with locals, increase their reach by introducing new audiences to their amazing tours and, of course, to get VBT in front of tourists exploring the Vail Valley.
